Cancer Center
The Cancer Center and its state-of-the-art equipment cost around $30,000,000. Foundation donors contributed approximately $3,500,000 to these efforts!
The Cheyenne Regional Cancer Center opened its doors in January 2014.
At the center, patients have access to multiple cancer-related services and therapies under one roof. This convenience patients and their families navigate what could be a complicated treatment—and turns it into a seamless experience.
Opportunities to donate
With the beauty and quality that the Cancer Center already possesses, donors in the community still have the opportunity to get involved!
Naming opportunities (for rooms, offices, care suites, etc.) are still available, and pledges can be made and spread over multiple years. For more information about how to give, please contact Vicky Fry at (307) 996-4510.
Additionally, The Foundation welcomes donations to provide ongoing support for the Cancer Center and its patients. Donations can be directed to the Foundation fund of the donor’s choosing:
- Cancer Center Services Endowment—This endowment fund provides funding for free services and therapies to patients, including massage, support groups, educational materials, art therapy and wigs.
- Cancer Center Building and Technology Fund—This fund provides financial support for state-of-the-art medical equipment in the fight against cancer.
In recognition of gifts of $500 or more to the Cheyenne Regional Cancer Center, the Foundation will place a customizable donor recognition brick in the Patio of Hope near the Cancer Center’s Healing Gardens. To learn more about this program, review our Cancer Center Brick Brochure.
