Diabetes Self-Management Education

Cheyenne Regional’s Diabetes Self-Management Education program has earned certification as an “ADA Recognized Education Program” from the American Diabetes Association. This designation recognizes that our Diabetes Self-Management Education program follows the National Standards for Diabetes Self-Management Education.

This comprehensive set of standards is designed to define quality Diabetes Self-Management Education and to assist educators to provide evidence-based education.

Our certified diabetes care and education specialists provide individual instruction for newly diagnosed or existing Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes or those wanting to prevent diabetes.
