Onboarding Steps
- Please contact Occupational Health as soon as possible to schedule your onsite appointment. -They can be reached at 307-633-7897 or at [email protected]. Please allow 24 hours for a return call if you leave a voicemail message.
- This appointment will take approximately (1) hour to complete.
The availability for these appointments are M-F 07:30 AM – 1:30 PM (the office is closed daily for lunch from 12:00-12:30)
Please see the attached checklist to review items required for employment. There is no need to get these items done ahead of time as they can be completed during your appointment, but if you have access to your records, we ask that you bring them with you or provide them ahead of time. - More information will be provided to you at the time for your appointment but you must have the following items prior to or on your appointment day and bring them to the appointment or your appointment will be rescheduled:
- A valid non-expired photo ID
- Copy of Immunization record (if available)
- Completion of your online health surveys
- At your appointment you will complete
- Urine drug screen
- Health assessment consisting of color vision screening, review of immunization records and hospital safety protocols per job position
- You will take your badge photo at this time so please dress accordingly
- Online surveys will be sent through a computer based program called ReadySet
- Please note, these surveys need to be completed prior to your appointment. If not completed prior, your appointment will need to be rescheduled.
- Location: Fifth floor of the Medical Office Building (MOB), Suite 500-A.
- Enter the parking garage from E. 22nd Street
- Employee parking is available in the parking garage on floors C,D,E and the uncovered space at the very top
- Employees are ONLY allowed to park in spaces with the CRMC diamond logo painted in white on the wall. This is the potential for a first experience with our patients so we take parking very seriously
- Take the elevators located to the left side of the parking garage that are labeled “ELEVATOR TO HOSPITAL AND LAB” to the first floor of the main hospital.
- On the main floor you will enter through a set of automatic doors and there will be a sign over head that gives directions to go straight to Hospital Lobby or take a Right and go to the Medical Office Building
- Take a right and walk towards the elevators labeled “GREY” and take these elevators to the fifth floor

- New hires will receive an email invitation from Universal Background Screening. This email will be sent within 48 hours of your job offer or 30 days out from your start date whichever is later
- Compliance standard is to have background check completed 30 days prior to start date
- An email invitation from Department of Family Services will be sent within 48 hours as well. Same rules apply as to above
- You will receive an email from Wyoming DFS Central Registry [email protected]. Just fill in your details and hit submit. Don’t stress about the CRSR number; that’s our part!
IMPORTANT: Failure to complete this step will result in the background check not being started which may result in your start date being moved. Please look for this email and complete the instructions ASAP. If you do not see these emails, please check your junk folders or contact Human Resources at 307-633-7871 to speak to your recruiter.

- Within 48 hours of receiving your offer letter your recruiter will be reaching out to introduce themselves and help you through the process.
- An offer letter will be sent to the email address that you used to apply into the position with. Please review the offer letter as soon as possible and reach out to your recruiter if you have any questions
- The offer letter is an important part of the Onboarding process because it gives the Recruiter the go ahead to start the process

- You will have received a “Welcome to Cheyenne Regional Email” this will be where you enter the following information:

- Where can I purchase scrubs?
- Scrubs may be ordered from your vendor of choice but must be embroidered by a vendor-approved to reproduce the Cheyenne Regional logo (listed below). The logo will be embroidered and placed on the left upper chest. We have several approved vendors either online or locally.
