Cost: $25 – Registration fees will be used to purchase an AED (automated external defibrillator) for the community, in partnership with Mended Hearts.
What’s new for 2025: 16th Annual “Wake Up to Heart Health” Event
- Keynote speakers are Cheyenne Regional Cardiologist Dr. Abdelhadi Rifai and Cardiothoracic Surgeon
Dr. Mark Guadagnoli. They will focus on expedited heart attack care and exploring your treatment options for lifelong heart health, while also addressing risk factors modification and making healthy lifestyle choices.
- A heart patient will discuss his journey after having a cardiac arrest, receiving immediate lifesaving care and the treatment that gave him the quality of life he desired.
- An off-duty paramedic will share his role in providing lifesaving CPR and the importance of calling 9-1-1 for immediate care during a heart attack.
- Attendees will learn how to do hands-only CPR.
- CRMC’s very own Cardiac Rehab will give you some easy tips on how to increase your activity to optimize your heart health.
- A continental breakfast and heart-healthy lunch will be served.
