Which Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) courses are available at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center?
Cheyenne Regional Medical Center offers two American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course options: PALS Two-Day and PALS Heartcode.
Both courses are intended for healthcare professionals who respond to emergencies in infants and children, and/or personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units.
Upon registration for the PALS course of your choice, you will receive a course instruction email with instructions, the date and time of the class, the location of the class and what to expect.
NOTE: The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.
About the PALS Two-Day Course
The initial certification is a full two-day, live course, through which professionals will learn PALS treatment algorithms, team dynamics, effective resuscitation, and effective pediatric assessment.
Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years.

- Personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units
Course fees
- PALS course and book fee: $250
- Your book is included in the price of the course. Books can also be checked out by hospital employees.
- PALS pocket reference: $15
Certification period
Your Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification will expire two years from the last day of the month in which you completed the course.
About the PALS Heartcode Course
The Heartcode course is a one-day live course with an online heartcode to be completed before class.

- Healthcare professionals who respond to emergencies in infants and children
- Personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units
Course fees
- PALS course fee: $250
- PALS book fee: $45
- An eBook is provided for the heartcode course; books can also be checked out by CRMC employees
- PALS pocket reference: $15
Certification period
Your Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification will expire two years from the last day of the month in which you completed the course.
