S.T.A.B.L.E Program
About the S.T.A.B.L.E. program
Offered through the Cheyenne Regional Medical center, the S.T.A.B.L.E Program uses a mnemonic-based tool to focus on the post-resuscitation care of sick neonates. This includes physical assessment, problem recognition and patient management, and assisting healthcare providers to organize the myriad of details and interventions necessary to provide care to a sick and/or premature infant
“S.T.A.B.L.E.” stands for the program’s six assessment and care modules:
- Sugar
- Temperature
- Airway
- Blood pressure
- Lab work
- Emotional support
Who should register for the S.T.A.B.L.E. program?
The S.T.A.B.L.E Program is designed for:
- Healthcare providers and professionals involved with post-resuscitation and/or pre-transport care of sick newborns
- Maternal/child healthcare providers who care for well newborns or newborns who may become ill.
Through the years, the program has evolved to serve as an orientation tool for the neonatal ICU and neonatal transport teams.
Course fee
For non-CRMC employees:
- $95
- Book is included in the price of the course
Certification period
Your S.T.A.B.L.E certification will expire two years from the last day of the month in which you completed the course.
