Community Update on Transition to Epic Hello World for SMS (short message service) Patient Communication Through Texts

Cheyenne Regional Health System announced today that starting September 25th, it will transition to Epic Hello World for patient text messaging communications. This shift aims to improve the organization’s connection with patients, ensuring more integrated, responsive, and effective engagement. Epic Hello World will allow patients to receive text messages related to appt reminders, prescription reminders, one-time passcodes, care management updates and more.

Patients will receive a “Goodbye” message from our current texting vendor with details regarding the transition to Epic Hello World and how to opt in to continue receiving messages. All messages will come from a single phone number – 97078. Starting September 25, patients can opt in to text messages related to their healthcare by texting START to 97078.
