New Emergency Department Opens Dec. 2 for Patient Care

Cheyenne, WY—Cheyenne Regional Medical Center will open its new emergency department for patient care on December 2, 5 a.m. The emergency department had originally been scheduled to open October 28. The opening was postponed due to a problem with an internal communications system.

“We appreciate everyone’s support and patience as we worked through the issue with the communications system,” said Tracy Garcia, Cheyenne Regional’s clinical director of trauma and emergency services. “That system is up and running, so now we can focus on making the transition to the new facility.”
