Clark, Liam, MD
Liam Clark, MD completed his residency and fellowship in Utah before returning to his native Wyoming.
“I chose neurology because it was the most interesting rotation in medical school. I chose headache medicine as my subspecialty because of the profound quality of life impact the right treatment can have on a patient,” says Dr. Clark.
Dr. Clark focuses on diagnosing and treating headache disorders, including migraine, cluster, hemicrania and high-pressure headaches. He is fellowship-trained and offers treatment plans that can include lifestyle changes, medications and procedures such as Botox injections.
Headache is a common and often disabling condition that is can be misunderstood, but there are treatments available! Dr. Clark’s visits also include headache education so people feel more empowered about their condition. He loves hearing back from patients that their headaches are getting better!
Dr. Clark’s patient care philosophy is to focus on the whole person, not just the symptoms. “We talk about ‘health’ like it is just physical, but it really involves social, emotional, environmental and spiritual components,” Dr. Clark says.
When not assisting his patients with meeting their health goals, Dr. Clark enjoys reading fantasy and sci-fi novels, creative writing, being in nature, learning how to fly fish and playing with his cat.
