Biography
Dr. Sarah Gordon has practiced internal medicine since 2014 and nephrology since 2017. As a military physician, she practiced at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Maryland, Tripler Medical Center in Hawaii, Madigan Medical Center in Washington and also spent time in Kuwait.
Dr. Gordon chose to become a provider after witnessing the positive outcomes of having a supportive provider during her own family’s battle with a long-term illness. She chose nephrology as her specialty because she enjoyed the variety of patients and care environments it offers.
“I believe patient care is a collaboration between the patient and their provider,” says Dr. Gordon. “Care should always be individualized to work within the available resources for the best possible outcomes.”
Dr. Gordon and her family are new to Cheyenne and are excited to explore the city. She enjoys spending time with her young son and daughter as well as hiking and reading fiction.
