Kenneaster, Kaleb, DO
Kaleb Kenneaster, D.O. is a specialist of Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment. He came to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center for his first year as an attending physician following his Family Medicine residency at Summa Health in Akron, Ohio.
“I became a physician, not only because I wanted to help people, but because I have a love and passion for the science behind medicine and for the interactions with people I’m fortunate enough to call my patients,” Dr. Kenneaster said.
He chose family medicine because it allows him to treat a variety of conditions. “I also always knew I wanted to return to the greatest state – Wyoming – and family medicine allows me to set up a practice anywhere I would want to go.”
Dr. Kenneaster chose to become a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine because its course of study and training emphasizes primary care and treating patients in more rural areas. He believes that every decision made should be between the patient, their family and their physician and that education is essential to both the patient and the physician.
He chose to work at CRMG because of the supportive environment it offered, and it allowed him to return to his native Cheyenne. In his off time, he and his wife enjoy many outdoor activities including hiking, fishing, hunting, shooting, kayaking, gardening and mushroom hunting as well as staying indoors to read and watch movies and documentaries.
