Mickelson, Ashlee, LCSW
Ashlee Mickelson is a Wyoming native who graduated from the University of Wyoming with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Social Work.
Prior to joining the team at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, Ashlee worked with adolescents and families at a residential care unit. She has experience in the areas of addiction, depression, trauma, abuse, domestic abuse and family conflict, and group therapy sessions that focused on grief and loss and social skills. She has also assisted with treatments for sex offenders. She especially enjoys working with adolescents and individuals with personality disorders and identity and self-image issues. However, she finds it fulfilling to assist patients of all kinds who struggle with mental health issues and/or life transitions.
Ashlee managed the Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Program for three years before stepping into her current role as manager of the Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program.
