Parsons, Sara, MS, RD, LD
Sara Parsons attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition. After completing her undergraduate studies, she pursued graduate school at Bastyr University in Washington state, where she received her master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. Following her master’s degree, Sara completed a dietetic internship through the University of Houston, which included various supervised rotations in both northern Colorado and Wyoming, enabling her to become a Registered Dietitian.
Since June 2023, Sara has been working in both inpatient and outpatient settings at CRMC.
Originally from Castle Rock, Colorado, Sara loves good food, coffee, sunshine, and spending time in the mountains. Outside of her work in nutrition and dietetics, she enjoys reading, painting, dancing, rock climbing, running, fly fishing, hiking, camping, music, and cooking.

Inpatient Nutrition Services
The Food and Nutrition Services department at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center features a team of Licensed Registered Dietitian Nutritionists who provide Medical Nutrition Therapy to inpatients.
Outpatient Nutrition Services
Registered Dietitian Nutritionists provide nutrition counseling, Medical Nutrition Therapy, and nutrition education services.
