Thobro, Jennifer, LCSW
Jennifer Thobro is a licensed clinical social worker. She was born and raised in Wyoming and earned both bachelors and masters degrees in social work from the University of Wyoming.
Jennifer completed her internship as the first social worker at UW Family Practice in Cheyenne, WY. She previously worked with women and children at Safe Shelter domestic violence center in Colorado as well as with patients who have severe and persistent mental illness at Peak Wellness Center in Cheyenne.
Jennifer has specialized training and experience in Problem Solving Treatment (PST), an evidence-based practice that is designed to be used in the primary care setting in a limited time format. Problem solving treatment is a unique type of collaborative treatment that addresses problem areas in someone’s life that have caused an increase in their level of anxiety and depression.
Jennifer’s special interests include working with patients in the primary care setting that have chronic physical health issues and depression and/or anxiety, as well as helping patients to cope with situational stressors.
