Willox, James, NP
James Willox is excited to begin his career as a provider at Cheyenne Regional Medical Group after graduating from the University of Wyoming’s Doctorate of Nursing Practice program. He also worked at a hospital in North Carolina after he graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
James chose to become a Nurse Practitioner so he could promote the health of his community through patient-centered care and preventative medicine. That’s why he jumped at the opportunity to practice at CRMG – so he can provide quality care to residents in his home state.
“I believe patient care should be holistic and compassionate and take into consideration the patient as a whole human and not just the issue at hand,” James says. “I believe listening to patients is the number one priority in patient care, as they know their bodies better than anyone else.”
James is a fifth generation Wyomingite. When he is not caring for patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and firstborn child. He also loves spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, hiking and practicing photography. James is a huge Wyoming Cowboys fan – GO POKES!
