Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) course
Offered through Cheyenne Regional Medical Center (CRMC), the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) course conveys an evidence-based approach to care of the newborn at birth and facilitates effective team-based care for healthcare professionals who care for newborns at the time of delivery.
NRP utilizes a blended learning approach, which includes online testing and hands-on case-based simulation/debriefing that focus on critical leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
Upon registration, you will receive a course instruction email with instructions on how to access your online module, date and time of the class, location of the class and what to expect.
Who should take this course?
NRP is designed for health care professionals involved in any aspect of neonatal resuscitation, including:
- Advanced practice nurses
- Licensed midwives
- Nurses
- Nurse midwives
- Physicians
- Respiratory care practitioners
- Other health care professionals who provide direct care during neonatal resuscitation
Course fees
For non-CRMC employees, the course fee is $175.
Certification period
Your NRP certification will expire two years from the last day of the month in which you completed the course.
