BOTOX® for Chronic Migraines
Chronic migraine is a debilitating and disabling condition affecting millions of Americans each year. The discovery that BOTOX® can help prevent the onset of chronic migraines in adults is considered a major breakthrough—and one that’s available to you at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Specialty Clinic.
In a study of adults with chronic migraines, BOTOX® treatment was found to reduce the number of days the adults had migraines each month. The adults also had more overall pain-free days and reported fewer missed days from work.
If you are 18 years or older and suffer from migraines 15 or more days each month, you may benefit from this life-altering treatment.
To make an appointment with one of our neurologists for a headache assessment or to determine if BOTOX® might be right for you, please call the Medical Specialty Clinic at (307) 638-7757.
What to expect
Your visit to the Medical Specialty Clinic will begin with a one-on-one consultation with one of our neurologists, who will review your medical history.
The neurologist will then discuss your medications and other treatments you’ve tried or are still using to decide if BOTOX® (or other kinds of headache treatments) might help resolve your pain and other associated symptoms.
Ultimately, our goal is to diagnose the underlying cause of your headaches and to help you find answers and healing.
