Physical Therapy

Our therapists also specialize in advanced techniques like LSVT-BIG for Parkinson’s disease, myofascial release, lymphedema therapy, and trigger point dry needling to support recovery and improve function.

Occupational Therapy

We treat a variety of conditions, including fractures, tendon and nerve injuries, repetitive motion injuries, and rotator cuff repairs. Utilizing state-of-the-art techniques such as manual therapy, myofascial release, neuro-muscular re-education, and the fabrication of custom orthotics and braces, our therapists provide evidence-based treatments designed to address each patient’s unique needs. From pre-and post-operative care to the management of chronic pain and cumulative trauma injuries, our team is committed to supporting your journey to recovery and improved function. At Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, our outpatient occupational therapists are both Certified Hand Therapists, each with over 20 years of experience. It is our objective to provide you with an individualized treatment plan using a client-centered approach which will allow you to reach your goals in every performance area of your life (work, home, leisure). We will work as a team with you, your family, and your physician, to create a plan that best suits your lifestyle and support system. With our clinical expertise, we will be able to provide you with the most up-to-date and evidence-based treatment techniques and strategies for your specific pre-and/or post-operative shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand/finger diagnoses, including:

• Fractures
• Tendon strain or injury, repaired tendons
• Nerve injuries, strains, repairs, releases (Carpal Tunnel, Cubital Tunnel, etc)
• Repetitive Motion Injuries, and Cumulative Trauma Injuries of the elbow, wrist, hand
• Muscle strains, Rotator Cuff injuries and repairs

Inpatient Therapy Services

At Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, our inpatient therapy services include physical therapy and occupational therapy, offered during a patient’s hospital stay. These therapies are initiated upon a physician’s order to help patients regain function lost due to surgery, illness, or injury. The early introduction of therapy during hospitalization can play a crucial role in enhancing recovery, improving mobility, independence and overall quality of life.
