Custom post types

Providers

  1. Providers are displayed at /providers in alphabetical order.
  2. How to add a new Provider
    • In the WordPress dashboard click on Providers then click on Add New.
    • Add a Title, Description, Featured Image
    • Select Provider custom fields
      1. Primary Location
      2. Additional Locations
      3. Service Areas
      4. CRMG Provider
      5. Accepting New Patients
      6. Gender
      7. Phone Number
  3. How to edit/delete a Provider
    • In the WordPress dashboard click on Providers, then click on the Provider you would like to edit or delete.
    • Providers have custom fields that allow you to display additional information about the provider. The custom fields also allow you to connect Locations and Services to a Provider

Locations

  1. Locations are displayed at /locations in alphabetical order.
  2. How to add a new Location.
    • In the WordPress dashboard click on Locations then click on Add New
    • Add a Title, content, featured image, and location custom fields.
    • Use the Excerpt custom field to display a short description on the /services list page.
    • Use the Staff custom field to display selected staff on the page.
    • Use the Services custom field to display this Location on the selected Service page. 
  3. How to edit/delete a Location
    • In the WordPress dashboard click on Locations, then click on the Provider you would like to edit or delete.

Services

  1. Services are displayed at  /services in alphabetical order.
  2. How to add a new Service.
    • In the WordPress dashboard click on Services then click on Add New
    • Use the Avada Builder to edit the Service content.
    • Staff custom field will display selected staff at the bottom of the page.
  3. How to edit/delete a Service.
    • In the WordPress dashboard click on Services, then click on the Provider you would like to edit or delete.
    • In the Avada Builder click on the pencil icon in the section you would like to edit.

Staff Bios

  1. Staff Bios are displayed via a Staff custom field on each Page, Service, or Location.
    • How to add a new Staff Bio
      1. In the WordPress dashboard click on Staff Bios, then click Add New
      2. Add a Title, Description, and Featured Image
    • How to edit a Staff Bio
      1. In the WordPress dashboard click Staff Bios, then click on the Staff Bio you would like to edit.

Awards

  1. Awards are displayed at /awards in chronological order.
  2. How to add a new Award.
    • In the WordPress dashboard click on Awards then click on Add New
    • Add a Title, Description, Featured Image, Button Link and Button Text.
  3. How to edit/delete an Award.
    • In the WordPress dashboard click on Awards, then click on the Provider you would like to edit or delete.

News

  1. News posts are displayed at /news in chronological order.
  2. How to add a new News post
    • In the WordPress dashboard click on News then click on Add New
    • Add a title and content.
      1. Begin the content with the post date.
  3. How to edit/delete a News post
    • In the WordPress dashboard click on News, then click on the Provider you would like to edit or delete.

Events

  1. Events are displayed at /events in a calendar or list view.
  2. How to add a new Events
    • In the WordPress dashboard click on Events then click on Add New
    • Add a Title, description, start date, and end date.
  3. How to edit/delete an Event.
    • In the WordPress dashboard click on Events, then click on the event you would like to edit or delete.
